A pick & place machine on your hands

If you so any kind of work with very tiny pieces, this may be something you'll want to look at. It has multiple different tips for different sizes and use cases. It's rechargeable via USB c and that is very convenient. It's lightweight and seems durable.

I bought this on a whim, but it has become the goto tool for picking up and placing the nano-sized SMD 1/8 watt resistors. It is vastly better than the various tweezers that I have been using. It holds well and releases instantly.

This rechargeable vacuum pickup pen is a handy tool for working with surface mount components. It effectively picks up various sizes of SMD components, though releasing the smaller ones can sometimes require a slight bump. I've used it with 0603 sizes and up. It includes different sized nozzles and suction cups for various sized component, and the rechargeable battery is a great feature. Overall, it's a worthwhile tool for anyone who regularly works with SMD components.

I really like this, as it works great and will save me headache and frustration. It has plenty of suction power, holding an entire LED with ease as shown in the picture. I just wish it came with a little case for all the different tips, and maybe a couple spares of the rubber, but otherwise this is perfect! Can't beat it for the cost IMHO.

This little SMT pick and place vacuum device seems at first like it would be too weak to pick anything up - but when you select the correct attachment (a bunch are included), it easily picks up just about any component imaginable. From tiny transistors to huge ICs, it picks them up. The rubber suction cup attachments are required for heavier components, and they can lift a lot (but be forewarned that the rubber suction cup does not want to release very easily so use those sparingly).

I was really impressed with the suction strength of this device, especially, in comparison to its size. It was able to pick up my phone easily during testing. This device can be used for both placing and removing chips.
Overall, this is a great little machine. It gives you the power of an industrial machine in a small package.

The pickup pen works very well. There is sufficient suction to pick up any SMT device that has a flat surface. It comes with six attachments that have various shaft thicknesses and shaft angles. The 3 suction cups only attach to the largest shaft. The smaller SMT devices can be picked up without the suction cups. It helps to have a steady hand to work with SMT components - which, in my old age, I pretty much lack. I am an old time through the hole type of guy myself that still makes his own PCBs and uses a desktop CNC with his own custom written program to drill component holes. But I can appreciate SMT technology.
